Te Tau Ihu translates as ‘the top of the South Island’. The region is home to most of New Zealand’s hop growing, where the climate and soil inspire hops that are distinctive from their northern hemisphere cousins.

Colour: Pale gold.
Malt flavours: Bready, grainy, mild toffee.
Hops: Nelson Sauvin, Motueka.
Hop flavours and aromas: Tropical fruit, gooseberry, zingy citrus, pepper.
